Leading specialist tax incentive consultancy, Catax Canada has further expanded its team with the appointment of four new team members. The latest hires come after a strong start for the Vancouver-based business, which launched just over two years ago.
Lewis Turner joins Catax as a Regional Development Director. With prior experience in B2B solutions, Lewis will strengthen the company’s business development offering, helping to build relationships with new and existing clients.
Additionally, Austyn Turner has been appointed as Regional Development Director. Working with Catax’s diverse client portfolio, Austyn will also be responsible for growing the company’s client base and improving client satisfaction.
Chaz Rehal joins Catax as its newest Specialist Tax Consultant (STC), helping to further strengthen the company’s SR&ED application process. Chaz will support clients with their consultations and gather the information required for claim reports. With a Masters Degree in Aerospace, Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering, Chaz has previously worked for accounting giants such as KMPG as a Tax Consultant.
Lastly, Kevin Lai has been appointed as a Tax Accountant. Nearing completion of his Chartered Professional Accountants of Canada (CPA Canada) qualification, Kevin has over seven years’ experience in accounting and sales roles. At Catax, he will help clients in calculating the benefit they should receive, as well as analysising the supporting numbers which will be used in report submissions.
