Role

A professional individual to compile, process and submit costs attributed to R&D claim projects. You will ensure the costs submitted within each report are accurate with sufficient due diligence and that adherence to HMRC legislation and guidelines is always followed. You will work with all internal and external stakeholders to ensure the assimilation and submission of costs is done in line with Company guidelines and that the claims are accurate and fair.

 

Responsibilities

  • Be the main point of contact with internal and external stakeholders re costs calculations.
  • Receive, efficiently review and summarise costs calculations in order that an accurate claim to HMRC can be made.
  • Ensure any sticking points are dealt with and escalated as per internal guidelines.
  • Follow working procedures laid out and make clear and concise requests for information to allow the claims manager to action requests for information from client in the most effective manner possible.
  • Ensure you keep up to date with HMRC legislation and guidelines that the Company works within.
  • Forge strong, effective working relations with internal stakeholders to expedite the process. Including; Administrators; Scheduling, Research, Auditing, Sales, Tax Consultants and Credit Control departments.
  • Focus on the outcomes to be achieved, working quickly and accurately and seeking guidance when appropriate.
  • Develop a strong understanding of the Company service provisions and internal processes.
  • Be aware of own KPI’s and be driven to achieve/exceed these.
